February is here, and love — and savings — is in the air.

We have rounded up a variety of deals to help make your month even sweeter. It is just our little way of wishing you a happy Valentine’s Day.

Frozen yogurt — Feb. 6

Feb. 6 is National Froyo Day, and to celebrate this cool holiday, participating TCBY locations are offering a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) deal.

Boneless wings — ongoing

For a limited time, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering BOGO boneless wings on Thursdays. This deal is valid on dine-in orders and for takeout or delivery placed through their official app.

Tax preparation — throughout tax season

Tax season is underway, but there is one way to take some of the pain out of the process: Skip the fee and get them done for free.

If your annual income is $69,000 or less, you have a disability, or you speak limited English, you can get your taxes done for free through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

Travel perks — ongoing

Bitten by the travel bug? You can score some unexpected savings on your next adventure. Today’s travelers can enjoy a variety of special offers, from free checked bags to complimentary museum admission. You can find more details in “10 of the Best Travel Freebies to Help You Save in 2026.”

Crafts for kids — Feb. 14 and Feb. 21

Lowe’s regularly hosts construction-based craft workshops for kids to enjoy free of charge. On Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., builders can come in and create their own miniature birdhouse. Note that you must register for this workshop in advance.

J.C. Penney also offers free crafting sessions for kids. On Valentine’s Day from 11 a.m. to noon, they can make a “Quill you be mine” hedgehog magnet for free. Parents will receive a free coupon for an extra 10% off their purchase so they can shop while their kids craft.

Samples — ongoing

Pastry — Feb. 17

Paris Baguette is offering a BOGO deal on pastries in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Day on Feb. 17. To qualify, you must be a member of the chain’s rewards program, which is free to join.

Cultural institution admission — Feb. 16

Feb. 16 is Presidents’ Day, and some cultural institutions are celebrating by offering free admission. Examples include:

  • The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis: Offering free admission on Feb. 16, though advance tickets are required. They will be available starting Feb. 6.
  • George Washington’s Mount Vernon: Typically offers free admission days in mid-February to celebrate Washington’s birthday.
  • Presidential Libraries: Many sites, such as the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, often waive fees on this holiday.

Video games — throughout February

The Epic Games Store continues its tradition of giving away free PC titles every week. For example, the garden-themed puzzle game Botany Manor is slated to be free from Feb. 5 to Feb. 12.

Hockey for a day — March 7

While the next official Try Hockey for Free Day has been bumped back to March, February is the time to find a participating rink and sign up.

This initiative provides children between the ages of 4 and 9 with free equipment and instruction to try out the sport.

Streaming TV — ongoing

It seems the cost of paid streaming services is always on the rise, but you don’t have to put up with the price hikes.
