Kohl’s Unveils New $10 and Under ‘Deal Bar’ in Stores

News Room

Kohl’s is introducing a new discounted department at the front of its stores called the “Deal Bar.”

The new “Deal Bar” features a variety of gifts for under $10, including children’s activities like sticker books and craft kits, seasonal decor, appreciation gifts for occasions like Teacher Appreciation Week, and small office storage items. Located in the front of the store, the “Deal Bar” is similar to Target’s Dollar Spot, the section at the front of Target stores that features items for $1, $3 and $5.

As of Feb. 11, the “Deal Bar” included wellness products and accessories like meal prep dishware, jump ropes and yoga blocks and Easter decorations, candles and crafts, according to a Kohl’s news release.

When does Kohl’s ‘Deal Bar’ roll out?

The “Deal Bar” is available at all Kohl’s locations and online, according to the news release.

New store addition comes after 2025 store closures

Kohl’s “Deal Bar” comes less than a year after Kohl’s began closing “under-performing” locations across the country. By May 2025, the department store had shuttered 27 stores in 15 states. As of Feb. 18, the Kohl’s website states the retailer operates more than 1,100 stores in 49 states.
